National Energy Conservation Day is celebrated on 14^th December globally to highlight the importance of energy consumption and its usage in our day to day life, its scarcity and its impact on sustainability of global ecosystem. It focuses on our concentration on significant issues facing the future of mankind with respect to the energy. This day serve to spell a sense of urgency on the issues involved and sheer determination to make our nation self-reliant on its own energy by providing 360 degree of energy security.
