Launch event for trading of Energy Saving Certificates (ESCerts) under PAT

The Hon’ble Minister of State (WC) for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R.K. Singh shall launch trading of ESCerts for encouraging the industries on 26th September, 2017, at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The trading of ESCerts shall start from 26 September 2017, at IEX as per the timeline directed by CERC in Procedure for Trading of ESCerts dated 14 February, 2017. The Para III of this procedure with timeline for Trading of ESCerts is enclosed at Annexure A. Trading of ESCerts at PXIL is not getting started on 26th September 2017, as they have represented to BEE & CERC that they are not yet prepared with their software platform.

In this launch event, all the industries will be acknowledged for their immense contribution in successful completion of PAT Cycle I, and a few successful case studies shall also be shared during the event.
